Hey so these i finished for a submission but im not totally happy with them. what do you guys think? ill add , its the left hand figures in both im mostly frustrated by. and the table in the second.
Hey, where's my comment? I did make one. Anyway, I love the table. The guy to the left - his tie looks his shirt is open. And is there something on the table just in front of his tie? That doesn't read clearly. I like the two figures to the left in the top painting. Maybe the left arm on the one with the orange pants is a little awkward. If it receded a bit more, maybe less defined, or the the slope of the shoulder more downward, the skin of the arm angled straighter & down. XO
oh my , i meant to say right hand figures! but yeah id like to work on that figure too Im not sure if ill work on them anymore though. even though I want to improve them its nice to have them out of the way.
Well, i love them. but have you worked on them since? i know your work changes often and it's been a long time since they were posted. We must get together after i get my show done.
Hey Mary Beth, Have you returned to these paintings? I read my previous comment and I think I must of been constipated that day. Now, well I think, the face of my grandmother (the middle lady in the blue dress) needs a little work. Little. I still think the guy looks like his shirt is open vs. a tie.
