i only got to take this one quick photo before Colleen's show at Cheltenham Art Center. It was a hit with at least one RED DOT.

Hey so these i finished for a submission but im not totally happy with them. what do you guys think? ill add , its the left hand figures in both im mostly frustrated by. and the table in the second.

The Secret Lives of Humans post card image

Hi. So this painting i am happy with and it is finished. I would still like your feed back. I'm pretty sure I will use this image for 'The Secret Lives of Humans' show postcard (Rodger Willing) I have coming up. I don't have a tittle for it yet and it's about 8" x 5".

You'll notice the layout has changed. The other Blog layout was nifty looking, but not real practical. I thought it hard to follow. Also, you don't have to go looking for contributors now.

Consider subscribing by email, so you remember to comment on other's artwork.  I just want to keep things hopping.

So, I've been working on this painting for a while now and would love for some other eyes to look at it. Would appreciate any and all feedback.

I like the mood, but I don't like the weird bloby shadow, with it's tentacle like bits coming off. Wait maybe i like that now.  I like tentacles and it adds to the creepiness  What do you think? I think the shadow looks like a blob and not a shadow.

Welcome to The V. A. Shit Slinger!

The Idea: A place for artists to post their artwork and get criticism back.

1. Those artists who wish to post their work are agreeing to also criticize the work of others posted on the site on a simi regular basis.

2. This blog is for artists who want honest feed back. This isn't for those looking for pats on the head.  or even promotion of their work. Those posting their work will understand that folks will be encouraged to state what they really think about it. And as most of us have gone through art school and lots of critiques we realize that this is not a personal attack but an honest discussion of art and the world around us. Trolling, personal attacks and advertising will be removed.

3. If one comments that they do or don't like something they must attempt to say why.

4. I'm also going to encourage the participating artists to post and critique art shows they have seen. However, work not open to the public shouldn't be posted with out the artists' permission.

5. The general public may post comments and critiques.

6. Please try to post work so there is one work per post.  That way when one is commenting we know which work they are talking about
